Q: What sort of reliability does your hosting have?

As of 2014, we have been in business for 23 years. We have been on the web for almost 20 years. Over those years www.jtan.com easily had 99.99% uptime. When you compare us to other hosts, please use 20 years as the basis. Lots of hosts can survive just a mere year. We have also been up far better than 99.99% this past year too. And we will be here tomorrow too -- other hosts will not make it.

Keep in mind, however, that JTAN is not just one site or machine. On 100% of the days we have at least one of our many machines that has problems. So, in that sense, our uptime is 0%. But we fix things and get them working again. That's what you care about. There isn't a common hardware problem, software glitch, DOS attack, or business challenge that we haven't seen and overcome. This should show that we have what it takes to conquor future challenges as well.
